BAR ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN OAKLAND | JASMINE + GIRISH
Okay, so these technically weren’t engagement photos. Jasmine and Girish stealthily eloped before they contacted me, and were throwing a reception party to celebrate with their closest friends. They also wanted to capture a couples session at Hoi Polloi in Berkeley—where they had their first date. I LOVE shooting in a way that is special and unique to each couple—shooting at the bar where you first met is such a sweet and intimate way to commemorate your love and evolving relationship.
Jasmine and Giri played cribbage, brought books that were representative of who they each were when they first met, and included their rescue dog Biscuit. A perfect evening at your local bar. Shot with flash for that fun punchy, contrasty look.
