BESTIE FRIENDSHIP SHOOT IN PT REYES | WENXI + CHARLENE
Neither Wenxi nor Charlene live in the Bay. In fact, they live in completely different parts of the world. But when Charlene had a work trip to San Francisco, she asked Wenxi to come meet her for a California road trip. And that’s where I came in. They reached out asking me to document their friendship—maybe my favorite request to date. We met in Pt Reyes Station, first bopping around the small town and spending time in the Pt Reyes Books as they’re both big readers. Then we headed to the beach for a picnic and to lounge around—documenting their friendship in a similar way to how I document romantic relationships: naturally, and true to the people involved. It was so fun and special to me to capture friendship. Inspired by this shoot I am now officially offering bestie shoots! I would love love to capture your relationship with your best friend.
