EDITORIAL SAN FRANCISCO MATERNITY | STEPHANIE + MIKE
Spent a Wednesday morning in the Dogpatch of San Francisco with Stephanie and Mike, who decidedly did not want cheesy maternity photos. The mood board we created looked more like an editorial clothing brand shoot—there wasn’t a pregnant belly in sight. You can see Stephanie’s dancing roots in the images below, and I credit the mood board to Mike’s background in design. They happily sat on the sidewalk, which if you’re aware of the streets of San Francisco, you know was a brave move. I won’t even mention that I was fully lying on said sidewalk for the photos of their arms. Then we headed back to their home for some more intimate portraits of the two of them. Oh, and of course we shot a roll of film!
