Sarah and I changed the direction of our shoot a few times from our initial call, settling on a portrait shoot to celebrate some recent accomplishments of hers as well as her upcoming 40th birthday. Sarah was drawn to light and shadow and contrast in images—we got sun for about ten minutes at the beginning of the shoot, then the fog aggressively rolled in. But the light hitting the fog, met with the colors of the hills and her wardrobe were really gorgeous. By the end of the shoot the weather was unrecognizable—so foggy we were basically damp with no visibility.
