SAN FRANCISCO ANNIVERSARY COUPLES SHOOT | DANI + AARON
Dani and Aaron reached out to me about a couples session to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. I love love this idea, it’s so fun and special to celebrate your anniversary in this way, and also to not only get photos taken for your engagement and wedding. We started at their home in San Francisco and hung out with their pup both inside and on their porch. Dani mentioned how they spend every morning together with a cup of coffee on the couch, connecting before the chaos of the work day begins, so we wanted to capture time on the couch together. And Aaron has a favorite family photo shot out on the back porch, so we shot in that space as well. I love capturing scenes, moments, and spaces that are special and unique to my clients.
After shooting in their home we headed to Fort Mason in San Francisco—they got married at the piers there last year, so to celebrate their anniversary we headed back to the same space. Love love this concept. We didn’t recreate any specific images from their wedding, but enjoyed returning to that space a year later, taking in the beautiful views and the (rare) evening San Francisco sun. We climbed the hill in the nearby park for the end of the session, just to relax and enjoy the sunset. Such a romantic way to celebrate your first wedding anniversary.
Would you like to shoot anniversary photos, or couples photos just because outside of your wedding or engagement? I’d love to chat about what is important to you and your relationship and capture that for you! Let’s talk.
