SAN FRANCISCO CITY HALL ELOPEMENT | STEPHANIE + BRAN
When Stephanie and I first chatted about her wedding, she and Bran were planning a full-blown celebration later this summer. But after some soul-searching they realized they’d rather have an intimate ceremony with just their family and close friends, and have a bigger celebration with everyone later this year. So we changed courses, altered our timeline and pushed up their wedding date to the spring. Lucky for us we have one of the prettiest City Halls here in San Francisco.
Stephanie and Bran booked the fourth floor Mayor’s Balcony at San Francisco City Hall, which is my favorite option. You get to have your own officiant, more guests, and get a whole hour instead of just a few minutes with a city hall official. Plus you can book musicians to play which is such a nice touch.
We first met at their hotel for some getting ready photos and a first look down the street. Afterwards we headed to SF City Hall for their ceremony, as well as couples photos and family photos. Stephanie and Bran also wanted some portraits shot outside in nature before heading to their dinner celebration. I always LOVE going to a second location for portraits, especially after City Hall elopements. We trekked out to Land’s End and got so lucky with a perfect sunny day (San Francisco locals know). We spent some time taking portraits together before they met back up with their family to continue the celebrations.
I’m always so honored to get to document such important days for folks. If you’re planning to elope at San Francisco City Hall, I'd be thrilled to be a part of your story. You can see my starting packages here, and reach out to discuss your vision for your day!
