SAN FRANCISCO DOCUMENTARY ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY | SIERRA + ANDREW
Another documentary engagement session all over the city and ending in the ocean! Love that so many of my clients have been shooting around their neighborhoods recently, and of course jumping in the ocean! My favorite thing of all time!
I met Sierra and Andrew, and their pup Finn!, in their neighborhood in San Francisco. We did a quick trip around the block, and made sure to get some shots with the trolly as it came by. I can’t get over Finn smiling in the photos, the goodest boy. From there we headed to Mt Tam, specifically to frolic. We romped, we frolicked, we got cuddly and cozy. We enjoyed the sun’s warmth while we could. Then we headed down the mountain to the main event of the evening: the beach.
We got to pose with the rocks, which is always a favorite of mine, and took some documentary images at the water’s edge before changing into swim suits. We got lucky with a sunny and not-too-windy day, but as you know if you live in Northern California, the ocean here is not warm. Sierra and Andrew weren’t deterred though, and we all jumped in at the end of the session. These are always my favorite photos—running into the water, the actual jump in.
